Entrance from Division Street
When we go into this door we end up in a fun place. You can go downstairs or take the elevator. You get to the Sunday school room/Monday Play Shoppe Room. You can go upstairs and go to the sanctuary, church offices and the parlor.
The Church Office
This is where business is done. See down the hallway in the left of the picture, that is the pastor’s office and the office of the Christian Education Director is to the right.
THE PARLOR This room is for smaller meetings and is a good place to sit while waiting for others in meetings. There are also bookshelves in here with books that you may borrow.
Conference Room
Our conference room is used often. Church council & board meetings meet monthly and our confirmation group meets weekly in this room. The conference room has comfortable chairs.
I like this room because it is a nice quiet place to read or write. I also can sit here and work on homework when I need to.
Fellowship Hall
Here people are gathering to get ready for our Wednesday evening meal time called “God’s Country Kitchen”.
The Church Kitchen – It was remodeled a few years ago and even has a dishwasher now! God’s Country Kitchen meals, the Easter Breakfast and our delicious snacks we have at youth group are all prepared in here.
Stairs to the Upper Room
These are the stairs to the bright blue room. The stairs are cool because they are big and that is why we like them.
A window above the Sanctuary
This is picture of Jesus as a youth.
The Back of the Sanctuary
There is a lot of meeting and greeting before and after worship that takes place in this area. It is also the location of the beautiful stained glass made by Mr. Jaeger, a member of our church. The copper bowl on the stand is our baptismal font. As we enter the sanctuary we are reminded of the sacredness of our baptism.
Pulpit and Table
This is where the services are held. I like this room because it is big and looks cool. The table at the front of the sanctuary reminds us of our sacrament of Holy Communion.
Entrance from First Street
This is also known as the “Tower Entrance.” Some kids like running up the stairs and sliding down the railing. It also is a very pretty place in the summer because of the flowers.
WE HOPE YOU HAVE ENJOYED THIS TOUR OF OUR CHURCH. THANK YOU FOR JOINING US! YOU ARE WELCOME TO VISIT US ANY TIME! |
